With the introduction of new XLamp® XM-L2 LEDs Cree again sets the benchmark for the most efficient and highest performance lighting components. Designed for high-output applications, XM-L2 LEDs produce 20% more lumens-per-watt than existing XM-L LEDs. As the previously released XP-G2 and XP-E2 LEDs they are built using the Cree's unique SC3 technology hich enabled the company to reach such increase in the performance of LEDs.
The XM-L2 LED is a unique combination of the highest efficiency with high drive currents and as у result it produces 1198 lumens at 116 lumens-per-watt efficacy at 3A which means that XM-L2 is the brightest LED in the world at the moment.
Taking into account that XM-L2 has the same footprint as XM-L LED, we can use it in our products without making changes in design and construction of our flashlights. And it means that in close future we will supply our customers with new most-efficient and powerful flashlights for a variety of applications where high-power bright light is required. And of course we will also develop new flashlight series customized with the newest most efficient components offered by Cree.
